I just realized I have the HP60 as well.... I ordered a Mytee Lite II though... whats the difference?

The HP 60 is a 1200 watt heater vs the Mytee II 1000 watt. The HP 60 is a 6 gal tank vs the Mytee II 3 gal tank.

Its the HP60 Spyder... Doesn't look like 6 gallons, but then again I haven't measured it. What about the Spyder version?

Yep, The HP 60 Spider is 6 gallon...

Should look like one of these two..depending on if its the old or new model....

Yep, the pic of the new one is what they sent me. So the HP60 Spyder has a 200w higher pump and 3 gal more capacity? Are those the only differences?

Also, I'm gonna try to reset the heater. The instructions (which are pathetic) say there is a button on the heater to reset it, but it doesn't say how to get to it. Any ideas before I start pulling it apart?

Well I opened it up and there is no reset button like the instructions say... but I did see that the heater was not secured and it moved, disconnecting 3 of the power leads to it. Reconnected them and now its working!!!

Sometimes karma works for me, my local Mytee distributor quit selling them and switched to another brand saying they were not satisfied with them, the other distributor in town tried talking me out of Mytee and steering me to another brand. Then I had to use the money I saved for it on an emergency - so no Mytee. This thread kinda makes me glad I did miss out on one.

why? mine's working fine now. It wasn't hard to fix at all. and the problem happened during shipping.

Glad yours is working now, with my luck - I'd get the one with everything wired wrong. I'd still like to get an extractor some time in the future, but I'm buying local for the support just in case.
