I hope I am putting this in the right area. Wasn't exactly sure
Was just wondering if anyone has come across this issue and could shed some light. Ill probably contact mytee but was hoping maybe there it a easy fix or explanation.
I was using my Firebird today as usual, no problems until I was about half way done with a BMW Z4 interior. I noticed the steam pressure was dropping so I assumed I was out of water and needed to refill (so annoying). Turn around to see that the unit had turned itself off, and wont turn back on. Power button does nothing, lights don't turn on, and it doesn't heat up anymore. Its just dead. I packed it up and finished the detail and haven't gone back to it since this afternoon. Maybe it has a thermal overload or something that automatically resets? That's what Im hoping at least
Any ideas? I was planning on buying myself a nice dupray Tosca or one plus next spring to really up the steamer game as I use it on every detail, but I may still pickup a job or two before its winter here in Michigan and will want my steamer. Im spoiled maybe but I cant clean without it! (I know, I can, but I don't want to!
