My Zaino Review

Great review Bill, I'ma Zaino fan as well and enjoyed reading your review. I too was considering using AIO under Zaino my next time around. Did you apply the Zaino Directly on top of the AIO? Or did you do another wash. Will the Zaino bond on top of AIO?

I applied it directly over top. A wash wouldn't have done anything. I would have needed to IPA the whole car to remove whatever acrylic the AIO left behind. I know many z users have tried AIO underneath with no long term probems, so that's why I didn't think twice about using it.

Great honest review Mr. WOO !!! :xyxthumbs I am a Zaino user and encounter a lot of the same things you mentioned. Especially the fact that it seems to enhance any marks that are not addressed prior to Zaino. Z7 and Z6 really work well with Z2 and Z5. A little on the expensive side, but justified for me.

on your AIO application - from my experience it's much better to not buff it till dry - PC application makes it faster but I never work it past one or two passes and remove while still moist. I have had it dry in some section and was not a happy camper trying to get it off versus the WOO method?

AIO is a breeze if PC'd until almost gone (dry) and It wipes off as easy as NXT, WG, EX-P, VM, GEPC etc.. I have never had a problem with AIO drying and buffing unless I applied too much in an area. This does not happen because I continue to buff (PC), which enhances its chemical cleaning ability, until it eventually disappears.

PC a little longer and use a little less.

I detail indoors so this ease of AIO usage from my experience maybe negated by outdoor conditions. :nixweiss

groebuck,

I haven't noticed any difficulty in removing AIO if worked until dry. As Edwin said, this may be due to working indoors (the garage). Results may be different if working outside/in the sun.

Bill.

all my work in the garage ;) - I've just always followed the WOO method for AIO - I have had it hand appiled to dry where it was difficult to remove :) -

Hmmm... I don't know how I missed this thread a few days ago, but this is a great review Bill.

Well written, descriptive on many aspects of its use, comparative, and relevant. :xyxthumbs

I can call myself an experienced Z user for some years now,

and the review brings back sweet memories from my first usage.

The preparation is indeed the most important step in the whole process : if there is one swirl left, Z will magnify it.

Lucky for us, most people will not notice, they will be stunned by the great shine.

Keep up the good works:xyxthumbs
