My Vroom experience at Target. Made out awesome!

I really like the new Vroom products. Granted, my Target only gets the cloths and not the products but I really like the new MFs. It was thick and plush compared to my Baja Sol ones (which were ok). The kicker? I can get a 5 pack of the newer, better MFs for the same price of the 5 pack MFs from Baja Sol.

Also, they seperated each section and clearly tells the average joe what each product is for. I give it a thumbs up in my book. Gonna pick up some more and use my Baja MFs for the rougher jobs.

When I was at Target last weekend, the Vroom sheepskin wash mitt did not ring up. Lady asked me what the price was and I immediately thought of this thread but decided I would feel guilty for lying and told her the correct price.

Reminds me of another time at The Fresh Market. I was buying several desserts and the guy behind the counter had put two tags on the bottom of the box. Only one rang up and after a few seconds debating if I should say anything, I told the cashier there was a second tag.

I think I am too honest sometimes.

BTW, for locally available products, I am impressed with Vroom. The tire dressig also appears to be a keeper.

ok...so after reading this thread and another one on the Rubbermaid bucket I head to Target and just got back.

This large MF Drying towel has a label on the shelf that said $7.99. I sent my daughter to price check it and it would indicate $0.00.....so she goes to some clerk who says they are $3.19...I know thats wrong, but what the heck and pick up 4 of them along with 2 wash buckets @ 9.99ea.

I went in the Target closest to me Friday night. All the Vroom towels were together, but the other items were stacked by themselves on the end of an aisle in the Automotive section. The entire section of all their detailing stuff had been moved to a new location in Automotive. I don't understand why all the Vroom stuff wasn't together. They had a Vroom detailing kit for 17 bucks also.

Anyway, all the microfiber towels I felt of felt really soft! I thought they were a great value as well! The sheepskin mitt felt incredibly soft! I didn't buy any of the Vroom stuff, but I'll probably give it a shot in the future.

The prices on all the Vroom towels at my local Target were correct. I tried... :s

Overall though, I think their towels are a good buy no matter what anyone says. I am very impressed with their products and marketing. Thumbs up for Target! :2thumbs:

I was skeptical too. I looked at the Vroom MFs, and they didn't seem near as plush to me as the Microtex ones that Wal-Mart sells and those get dogged on here. I don't understand this thread at all. If people feel like those Vroom ones are nice, then whats wrong with a 5 pack of the smaller blue ones from Wal-Mart for $6.99 or whatever they sell for? If the WW Vroom towel is worth buying though, I'm there. I don't really care for the absorber I bought, and I keep hearing good things about WW on here.

I totally disagree. I have some of the Microtex, and the Vroom ones don't feel nearly as plush. Just my .02. However, since so many people seem to like them on here I am going to Target to see if they ring up wrong. If so, I am cleaning them out.

Agreed. I REALLY like my Microtex MFs.

I went to Target to purchase some vroom MF's today and even brought a new blank cd-r with me into the store to test them (i know, that is pretty lame) before purchasing. I rubbed them pretty hard against the cd and left some lint but no scratches at all.

They are 70/30. Also 6$ for 5 14x14 towels is a great deal.

My Target seems to be able to enter things into the computer and have them scan correctly. Darn. As for Imacarnut's claim about the plushness factor of the Vroom towels, I have changed my opinion. The 5 pack of the Vroom towels they sell at Target are inferior in quality to the Microtex brand at Wal-Mart. However, the 12 pack of Vroom towels seem to be a different towel altogether and they are very plush and seem to be quite nice. I ended up not buying any today, but I think I will buy a 12 pack in the future. $7.99 for 12 towels of that quality seems like a good deal to me.

I bought the 12 pack for 7.99 they are nice. After reading your post about the cd trick I just tried it and they do leave a little lint behind but no scrathes. For the price hard to beat
