My Uncle Bought a Corvette Z06-We Polished ***PICS***

91LSMAN

2002 Chevrolet Corvette
Well, my uncle bought a Corvette Z06. He's had C5s in the past but has never kept them more than a year or two. He says he's keeping this one. :) We detailed like crazy!!! My uncle has a Porter Cable also that he has basically used just to put wax on quickly, but I showed him the true potential of the PC, when used with Poorboys products!! He was amazed and has already placed an order!!

Our Process:
Wash
Clay
SSR2.5
EX
Natty's

It really needed the SSR2.5. It's an 04 with only 1700 miles on it, but during transport it got a few light scratches. SSR2.5 took care of them easily!!

Some of the pics were taken in the garage right after the detail and some were taken by my uncle a couple days later-take a look:

And now on to my favorite pic. We had the hood open and when looking into the hood you could see my car in the driveway perfectly, just as if you were looking right at it!! THAT'S WHAT I CALL DEPTH!!!

Once again-Steve (Poorboy) your products were amazing!!!

I can't wait to get both Vette's together for a photo shoot!!!

How many Corvettes is this? Very nice detail! Damn dude that has to be the biggest driveway I've ever seen! Perfect for a detail meet. I like the upcoming 2006 Z06. Sick.

:drool - that is just gorgeous!! :bigups

What does he have on his garage floor?

Looking forward to that photoshoot :)

Hehehe-just two Vettes in the family right now-Dad's and Uncle's. :mohawk Yeah his driveway is huge-the garage is huge also-when he bought the house it was advertised as a Nice garage with an attached house. LOL

Thanks-the garage floor is some type of plastic garage tile. It's kind of a weaving pattern and you can actually still see the garage floor, but you never touch it. It's not soft or anything, but it was still nice to work on.

Thanks for the comments so far!!

I just noticed, is that a big motorhome tucked in the back of the garage to the right of the Vette? :eek

Great work...
The hood shot is amazing :bigups
It looks to me that everybody in that neighborhood has a monster driveway and 3 or 4 car garages :drool

I would hate a have to shovel that thing though :eek

Thanks guys-we had a lot of fun doing it.

Yes, that is an RV next to the Vette. It's a 1600 Sq. Ft. garage.

The guys on the Corvette forum are going crazy over these pics. LOL

Thanks again everyone!!

:bigups That vette looks great , I know your uncle has to be happy with the results . I'm with Dalmore I like the garage more . :cool

That is a SICK car. It'd probably be impounded within 24 hours of me taking ownership. :LOLOL That finish looks incredible. Nice Job.

Really great work on the car. Cool shots too - and yes, that hood shot is most excellent! That garage at 1600 square feet is larger than many homes! Sheez, a detailer's dream garage. I hope to live in one so nice someday! :)

Wow. It's all very impressive.
