My Tank Finally Arrived Today

$570 is a good price. Detrailers had good prices on their 90 gallon tanks as well. I hope you got a white one otherwise, you'll be waiting forever for Ronco Plastics to make it.

ya it was like 5$ cheaper than any other place i found. how much u get your for?

No i ordered a black tank, thats really going to piss me off it takes forever. How long did u have to wait for your red one?

I ordered that 1500A the other day and got a call today directly from cam spray about some problem with the manufactur not instally an orfice nozzle and i have to install it with an allan wrench?? Either way Im pretty happy with camspray considering i dont even have the unit and I already have a customer support technicians direct line. I havent called him back cuase i just got home and he called right when i left this morning so ill call tomorrow morning and find out what this orfice thing is, Im sure its something really simple to install.

Hmmm... Mine came with an allen wrench but the only supplemental instructions were that I had to remove a cap and install a dipstick. I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do with the allen wrench. If you end up with instructions that you find might be of use to me, I'd appreciate them.

:2thumbs:

I gave $520 shipped. It took over a week for them to process my order and another week to ship. Not certain it was worth the wait.

As far as the tank goes... I bought it on eBay using "Buy It Now or Make Offer". I made them an offer and they accepted it. I provided them with a commercial address to save them a little on the freight. It then took 29 days to get the tank.

Detrailers said it would only take 2 weeks to manufacture and ship the tank.

Oh... Used the 1500A again today on an Avalanche. I really like having the ability to change from high pressure to low pressure on the wand and being able to just dial it in from 0 to 40 degrees.

Glad to hear its workign out great for u and yes the options do sound very easy to use I cant wait to use it myself! Are u finding the supplied hose length is enough??

Glad you reminded me... No, the 25' hose always left me needing a few feet more. I just ordered 20' or 25' more and now it's perfect. It is at times a PITA to wind up because the hose itself always gets twisted. A hose reel would be nice but then you're looking at getting a 50' hose from Cam Spray and that'll likely run you another $60 to $80. I don't really have a good place to mount a hose reel so it makes my decision easy. So when you call Cam Spray, be prepared to order either a hose extension (20' or 25') or a 50' hose.

I ordered it online through Sales Store. They then processed the order though EOS Trading in Miami. Not certain how all of that worked but it got it here and it works.

I was just looking at my trailer and again and I think I came up with a better solution for mounting the generator. Tomorrow I think I'll relocate the generator closer to the tank. That should give me just over 24" across the back of the trailer for storage bins, etc. It'll also give me a secure place to stow the Mytee Lite when I need it. I'm fearful that the tank outlets will get bumped and/or broken someday. With the generator between them, I won't be tempted to store items back there thus protecting them.

Exellent sounds like u got some work to do! How do u feel u dont have room in there? Id put that tank as far forward as I could and the geny right against it on the side its on (viewers left) and mount a reel on the veiwer right side of trailer against the wall leaving a gap in the midlle of the gen and your reel for your pressure washer which should also leave u some room to put your bins etc and sit down to take the occasional break!:waxing:

Id then construct some kind of shelving above your tank so u can use that dead space in the tounge for storage of suplies etc! Just a couple of my observations that may help u. let me know how it goes.

Also could u help me out on what size the hoses are on this 1500A?? Can i just get any 50' 3/8 hose? or do they have some special connections on em? Id like to order a hose off northern tool along with a reel know so i can have it asap!

I opted to mount the tank about foot back from the very front of the trailer for two reasons: it puts a little more weight on the axle and it allowed me tie 2 of the 4 mounting bolts directly into a cross member.

I may look into keeping the generator on the left side of the trailer and pushing it up against the tank. I think I just came up with a way to avoid damaging the outlet.

Straight from Cam Spray's website:

• Hose Dimension - 25' x 5/16"

The connections are SAE.

I ordered my extension hose on the 3rd and had it last Friday. That was from IA to GA.

What are u pulling this trailer with? ya i didnt think of the weight on the tounge like that all that would probably make it very akward stopping and going from not being balanced out over the axle!

Ya theres no reason u need the geny up front u can run a cord on the side of the trailer out the end just push it right up against the tank and maybe put a towel inbewteewn for vibration noise etc when its turned on!

I saw the specs on the website and ya they run an odd size compared to what northern tool offers! I was kinda thinking if the connections are Standard why couldnt we just use a whole different hose size and length??? I guess its the fitting at the end of the hose???

Did u order your hose directly from camspray i didnt realize that was possible.

thanks for all the info bud much appreciated!:xyxthumbs

I have an '07 Tundra so no problems at all. The trailer actually rides very well and only has any kind of real weight on it when I leave the house.

90 gallons = 732 lbs

Yes, I ordered the hose directly from Cam Spray. It came to $1.55 a foot (shipped).
