Ok come spring i have plans to detail my car. this is what I was going to do. please tell me If you recomend anything else for it. Just rember i cant get anything off of the net yet. Cause i dont have a way to buy it.

1.Wash with Dawn and take achocol to dealer sticker.

2. Meguiars Scrach X to a few spots.

3. Wash with Gold Cass Car wash.

4. Meguiars 1,2,3

5. Meguiars Quick wax or quick detail(same thing right)

6. Tire dressing

Sounds good to me. The only thing you might want to consider is replacing Meguiar's steps 2 and 3 with Meguiar's Professional Series #7 or #9 glaze and a different wax, such as #26 or Mother's Pure Carnuba. These are good store-bought waxes.

The Meguiar's Professional Series products are available in many auto parts stores. I know that Pep Boys carries them. So do Kragen and Murray's.

I with dude on this one, but I would just replace the whole Meguiars 1,2,3 system. For step one, I recommend a clay bar, available at NAPA, epboys, AutoZone, and some other retailers. For step 2, Meguiars #7 or Meguiars #9, and for wax Meguiars #26.

Meguiars Quik Wax and the Quick Detailer are two different products. The Quick detailer has lubricates in it to help clean a slightly dusty surface without causing scratches while adding some shine. The Quik Wax adds more shine but you have to QD or wash the car first. It says it on the bottles. Meguiars spells Quick - Quik........ Kinda catchy.

Happy Detailing :)
