nice photoshoot, what a rare car, never see these in the U.S. on the roads, only at car shows

They're so popular here in Canada. You can almost see them everyday when I drive to school.

Oh, but I must give you props. The car looks phenominal man. :)

It's a booming grey market as they were never originally sold there but Canada's car importation regulations is a lot more relaxed than in the USA.

I did some more work to the car this weekend, so I thought I'd post the results. When I initially polished the car (back in the few pics I posted) I wasn't that happy with the results. I found that the combo I had used before didnt' quite make the flake "pop" like I was looking for.

It had also been a month or so since I polished the car and there was a little bit of washed inducced micro marring. Not much, but enough to bother me :)

Anyway, so this weekend I went at it again with some Optimum Polish w/ a light cutting pad, followed by some ClearKote Red Moose Machine Glaze topped with S100 Wax. This combo was exactly what I was looking for. It gave the paint some more depth, and really made the flake POP right out.

Take a look at the pics below, NO swirls or marring here :) just clean beutiful paint looking like it should :)

Beautiful job on the paint. I would like to take one of these bad boys for a spin some time. I really want to import a JDM NSX-R thoguh, that would be the ultimate.

Great flake shot in that last set.

Now the question is, how's that badboy runnin'?

I just finished the 90,000Km maintenance on it (not bad for a 91 huh?). So timing belt, tensioners, idler pulley, waterpump, crank and cam seals. Also did the fuel filter, cleaned the MAF, cleaned the coil packs and slammed new plugs in.

It pulls pretty good now :woot2: :chuckle:

If anyone's down this area Id be more than happy to take yah for a ride.

If you want to import ANYTHING into Canada, I'd suggest you get on it. My dream car is an R34 Skyline, but I know we'll never see those in Canada (cept for the track/show only cars). The Canadian government is already starting to crack down on all RHD cars coming into Canada. Expect to see some stiff changes in the next year. They want to stem the flow of these imported cars into Canada.
