Guys I bought a sheepskin washmitt from autogeek and literally 1 wash, it's already almost in half.



How is this possible? How do you guys store them?

One wash shouldn't do that. Sounds like you got a piece of crap glove. Send it back.
 
I've had this happen before, even with some decent mits. You have to remember these are animal skins and sometimes you get a bad one. AG will fix you up.

As noted, it's a natural product and some are better than others even if they're supposedly all the same. I'd fully expect AG to take care of this.



I don't do anything special with my sheepskin mitts, just rinse them out and lay them over the lip of a bucket to dry (or not, sometimes they just stay damp). Some last an incredibly long time, others don't....I just consider them a renewable resource and replace them as needed.

I kinda need this back asap as a wash is approaching lol..

Wrong about the dryer. Using the dryer is the best thing to keep the mitt lasting a long time. Air drying results in rotting of the leather and the mitt will fall apart.



I used to air dry mitts and they always fell apart in a short period of time. Once I started drying them in the dryer inside out the problem was fixed. My current mitt is over a year old and is in great shape. Where do some of you people get your facts from?

Call them. This board is a total ghost town, they probably don't even check in here anymore, hell, who does with all the browser warnings.
