My poor Volvo got rear-ended

I picked up a replacement vehicle today (well, Friday).

It's the 1993 Volvo 850 with the leather seats, etc. And, this time, I've got alloy wheels. They look like they are in pretty good condition.

I'll have to do a search on leather to find out how to take care of the seats. The paint is not in great shape. It's got a lot of hologram/swirls. The headliner is filthy, yuck. I won't have time to do anything but drive it until May because it's income tax season.

My inspector guy says it's worth more than I paid.:xyxthumbs

Wow, sorry to hear about your accident Linda.

At least you got yourself a very nice replacement. I remember thevolvoguy's old 850. Those are great cars!

Wow, sorry to hear about your accident Linda, and that you had to replace your car. :(

I'm glad you're okay though, and it's good that everything was taken care of in your favour. I hope you like your new Volvo - pics please. :)

Sorry to hear about the accident. At the risk of being repititious, I am glad you are all right and everything is being taken care of.

The "new" car gets me from point A to point B fine, but it is devleoping quirks. I'll be going back to have some stuff looked at next week. The horn only works some of the time; the locking system has pooped out so I have to lock each door individually ; the trunk won't unlock any more; and the indicator on the dash for burnt out light comes on, even though all the lights are working.

It's also swirled all to heck. But, it is so much better than not having wheels. Because the locking system isn't working right, I opened a rear door to lock it. I'm not supposed to open rear doors after a front door has been locked with the key. The horn started a rhytmic bleat. It only took a few seconds to realize that it was because of the alarm system - so I know that works ;)
