My Planned Process So Far... (FMJ Anyone?)

My planned process so far is this:

Wash, Pinnacle Clay, Menzera Compound, then Menzera Final Polish--(<--VIA PC)

I know a lot of you use Menzera prounds, what do you use after them for wax/seals? Does anyone have experiences w/ FMJ? Do you apply them by hand or by PC?

Thanks,

if you use FMJ you will not be sorry about the shine and slickness. top of the line if you ask me. I used a pc and a finishing pad to apply a nice thin layer. can be applied by hand very easily also. Remember..thin is in when it comes to FMJ.

When you say Menzerna compound are you referring to Intensive Polish or Power Gloss Compound? Just curious.

Here's a thread of a car I did with IP, FPII, and then FMJ (and also after that P21S). FMJ is a great product. Extremely easy to use. Goes on easy then comes off REAL easy. Leaves a REALLY slick surface and has a nice wet shine to it. I haven't really examined the durability of FMJ in depth, but IMO the only down side of FMJ is the price. I think it's a little expensive. I usually apply it by PC to get a nice thin, even coat. I'd wager it's just as easy to apply by hand though.

I thought the menzernas were suppose to be applied with a rotary.
When your done post some pics i would like to see how it turns out.

Good Luck

It likely takes longer to work with the Menzerna polishes via PC compared to with a rotary. However, I like the results I get with a PC and Menzerna. It's likely that one day I'll buy a rotary.
