My Optimum No Rinse Review

I've recently received my first ONR gallon bottle. Tried it the other day and am very impressed with it. Dead easy to use and cleans surprisingly well.

How can you tell if I have the new formula? Does the label look different? The fragrance smells like how some washing powders smell.

Anything bought recently should be the new formula. The old formula has an industrial pine-sol like scent, the new one is a sort of a sweet smell.

Justin-never had that problem using #105 after ONR. Could be something else was on the panel.

Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I really preferred the old smell over the new one. I miss it. :pout:

mikenap, you are not alone...I liked it too and thank God for Opti-Clean. It has the old ONR fragrance.

That's what I've heard, unfortunately I'm on a detailing spending freeze for the time being. Plus, I'm not entirely convinced I need Opti-Clean anyway.

Sorry, still can't categorize the scent. This one has a kind of pine smell but also slightly sweet. It's not awful but not all that great either.

I got mine off eBay so it mat be old stock. Was there a label change with new formula?

Sounds like u got the original version. The new smell is mulberry. Jan 2006-Jan2010 only have the label post Feb 2010 will have a gold new formula sticker sometimes, but I think I have bought some without it (I go through a lot).

I must have the old formula. It certainly doesn't smell of mulberry, or any berry for that matter. When did the new formula come in? How is it different?
