I figured instead of doing seperate threads for each Porsche I would just continual add them to one thread (Is that OK to do? Mods?). So to start this off I will post up some pics of an 02 Polar Silver Turbo that a client just traded into from an E55.
First off the car has never had a proper cleaning. The wheel wells were horrible and had years of grime crusted up in there.
The Porsche guys allowed me to use a lift and then remove the wheels. I then set about soaking the wells with degreaser and blasted them with my steamer. My face looked like I went dirt bike riding after I was done :doh
I then dressed them with Protectant Plus.
Here they are BEFORE.
Pretty dirty in there but after some scrubbing they came out pretty nice.
After the wheels were cleaned (had to remove cosmoline and tar) I waxed them with PolyLack and then placed them back on the Porsche.
While the Porsche was on the lift I wetsanded the front nose piece as it had been repainted and what a crap job it was. The paint was super dull on the nose, no gloss at all. So I wet saned with 3k paper and buffed it out with my rotary, green pad and OHC at 1400 rpm's.
The main body was clayed and buffed also with the green pad and OC and then Cycloed with white pads and OCP. Paint was sealed with OCW. Poorboys on the tires and Opt Pro+ on all trim.
