These sponges apply paste wax so thin it's incredible. I tried it with Nattys and #16 both. I dampened it slightly. They're perfect! And smooth...

I cut the scrub part off with a knife and it leaves you with a sponge about 7/8th of an inch thick.

I was looking for a PVA sponge and ran across this. It looks like it could be, and the description fits. Thought I'd try it and see. It's a very fine, smooth sponge and soft like the yellow sponges that are so popular. Seems denser though. It really applys a thin layer of wax. I tried it with the Insulator Wax as well. I'm just not sure on that one. It applied it thin, but maybe too thin. It was getting dark and I didn't have enough testing to do. The picture of the sponges is pretty much all there is to show except for what it looks like after I cut the scrubber part off.
