FINALLY!! Traded the 98 Chevy Blazer in on December 30th... just forgot to post pics of the new truck until now!! This hasn't been detailed by me yet, just a crappy ziebart job :o



2002 GMC Envoy SLE, 41K miles. I've already got Mobil 1 5W-30 in it and a K&N Filter. So far, the 4WD has been giving me troubles, so I'll be back to the dealer AGAIN on Monday with it. Other than that, it's a nice truck. No major complaints, except I want to buy a leather interior for it, and a few other little things. Those will come in spring though.

Great truck my boss on my printing job got one about a month ago he loves it.I drove in his rides super smooth congrats.

ha... the XUV looks goofy to me, just don't like the back end design. What year blazer do you have? This was my (dirty :o because of the snow) 98 on trade-in day:

my cousin has worked for chevy for 10 years and decided to buy one of the same trucks.. so the day he got it the transmission light came on, they pulled the tranny changed some parts in it, and had no more problems ever since, well except once more with the tranny and a few recallss.......LOL It has nice power with that I-6 engine but when towing a simple jet ski the truck bounces, squeaks, and pulls all different directions. I'd say its overall a nice ride but be very careful if you try to use it for heavy duty work.
 
my father has the xuv it's very nice I even got to detail it once..it's white so It was just an looked average but he did have some rust blooms on the back i was able to clay out for him.

haha good to know.... but by chance did his have the air ride suspension in back? I've heard there's problems with that suspension, but my truck doesn't have it. So who knows what this one will do; won't have the opportunity to test it until spring.



Actually, yesterday I made the discovery that my truck has 4.10 rear gears and a locking/positraction differential -- meaning it must've been ordered with towing in mind :eek:
 
DAMN. This is the last GM product I'll ever buy, PERIOD. It's been nothing but trouble from ten minutes into delivery on. The dealer service is horrible, what the HELL did I get myself into here!!

Thanks.... just got back from the dealer... At least the truck is finally being serviced, it just took awhile to get them to realize that I have had the truck for 2 weeks, not put over 300 miles on it, and I shouldn't have to pay for them to fix things which should've been done long before I got a hold of the truck. It's not my fault the intermittent gremlins didn't show up during my proctored-by-the-salesman test drives and inspection.



Especially considering the truck sat on the lot for a month before I got ahold of it -- and had 1,000 miles worth of test drives on it!! :shocked :argue

lol... thats just where the dealer puts vehicles for customer delivery in winter -- the service dept.'s writeup area is climate controlled :cool:



Incidentally, all issues have been taken care of and *knock on wood* it's been running perfectly for me. Now, to start customizing!! :D (evil grin).... :( (me when I run out of modding money)
