My New Toy

I'm looking at my 2002 Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog and they look like the 1998 SVT Cobra wheel, p/n M-1007-D178. They list for $150 each so free is sweet!

When I purchased my GT (3) of the factory GT wheels were damaged (curb rash), and I requested that they be replaced immediately. I was given the run around for the first week and made a special appearance at the dealership after the telephone conversations were getting me nowhere. A few more miscommunications between the service/sales/ and parts department extended my wait another (3) weeks and I barked up every tree imaginable before a resolution was met. The General Manager of the dealership was embarrassed over the situation and admitted that he would personally correct the situation.

He made good on his word and I am now a happy customer again.

<strong class='bbc'>I will look into those wheels. I saw a picture of you in a previous post, and you like myself will probably never fit too comfortably into most sports cars....( 6'2" 230lbs.)

Thanks again for the info on the wheels !!!

...or in my case, 6'3.5" and 350.

Well it was time for a new buffer and I figured I would go all out. Here are a few pics of my new purchase.

looks like a pretty light and small rotary polisher. great for side work.... a little more info for those of us that don't know exactly what it is...

I'm wondering if he's going to let me borrow it and give it another seal of approval...................

Fein is one of your top tool markers if not the best tool maker. Since having several of their tools in my wood shop I decided to get their polisher because no one else really has one and I know their tools are top notch.

The polisher itself is not as light as it looks, built like a tank, a little on the noisy side and very expensive. It is a rotary for those wondering about that. If you have any other questions I would be more than happy to answer them.

Flash and Angelo, I guess you guys will need to flip a coin to see who gets to borrow it first, but Flash does live closer-lol.
