Sorry u don't like it.....but I do

I don't know about the wing either.... Don't really like it.

Maybe it is because we are Americans and a wing on a car means it is a ricer. I don't understand why they put spoilers on their cars... Why does a front wheel drive car need a spoiler again?

Edit: the second part I'm not talking about your car BTW.

U see....we (europeans) r (IMO) more concerned with aerodynamics.......we try 2 make efficient automobiles.....who don't need just big engines 4 a sports car......(also gas is more expensive here:mad: ).....Let's compare ya Viper with our 360 Modena or 996 TT......they r completely different cars 4 the same market......the Viper has a HUGE engine with "low" Rpm & a "romantic" design........unlike the Ferrari....who has a "small" engine with high Rpm & ,let's say, modern design.....or the Porsche (small engine, twin turbochargers).....it's a different mentality:nixweiss ......different cars 4 different ppl\

Well american muscle is a big thing. We like insane power with ground rumbling engines. Look at the old american muscle machines. 442, GTO, Chevelle SS, Boss, Hemi Cuda *drool* We like acceleration here, not top speed. Who cares if you are can get to 170mph. Most people here would rather have a 11 second car that maxed at 120 than a 15 second car that maxed at 170. I know I would. We don't have roads where you can just floor it and cruise safely... Our road crews suck. FIX OUR DAMN ROADS!

I know just a few weeks ago I was driving back from Mississippi and I knew it was an area without a lot of cops so... My foot started to get heavy. I was doing about 95 when I came over a little hill and there was this huge freakin' piece of concrete in the road! On the interstate! (OK, 95 is fast for a truck unless you have a lightning which it is then somewhat fast :D My governor also starts to kick in at 100.

A lot of people would also take a Viper over a 360 (and one person I know would take a vette before a viper or 360). I really like the 360 though. I would go insane trying to make up my mine between the two. I would take a Boss 429 over the Viper though. I'm a Ford man :D

Edit: Ohhh forgot to talk about the ricers. Ricers like to get light import cars (Asian imports, Not European Imports. Just remember, when you hear people making fun of imports it's not about European imports) Then they like to stick the biggest freaking spoiler on them, put ground effects on then and not even paint them, just leave them the primer color. Get lights all over the car, winshield washer nozzles, on the wheels, under the car.Everywhere Lights! Then stickers, you got to put stickers all over your car. Even if you don't have NOS you put NOS stickers on it. Also, even if your nitrous isn't made by NOS it is still referred to as NOS if you are a rice owner.

For some reason they also like to get a tachometer that is the size of a dinnerplate and stick it right in the middle of the dash so everyone can see. It is funny because some of then drive around in low gear so their car makes a whole bunch of noise. I'll cruise by them and see their shift light lit up. They also like exhaust pipes that have like an 8" diameter

You also don't do performance mods to them. Spend all your money on looks. If you do anything for performance, then the first thing you do is get a shift kit so your tires chirp into second gear. It is funny because my friend has a 442 and we go cruise in it. Most ricers won't race us but the ones they do get blow away! We can't drive around long because his car only gets *cough* 5 miles to the gallon.

Well said, we like horsepower. Big throaty engine that makes people shake in their boots and rice rocket guys stare. (would they please stop!!!).

OOO yeah almost forgot to tell ya. I beat a civic who said he was "fast" while I was driving my 97 4.2liter (v6) truck. It's a stick, and I am still learning how to drive it. I wnder if he's gonna go brag to his friends about that one?

Yup.....u're absolutely right......different mentalities in different countries....I like both european & american.....but 4 daily use I'd take any european against american:p

I gotta agree with GeaKana.. Having been born in Germany, yet living almost my entire life in Puerto Rico, i do have more of a European mentality than American.. I agree on many point that you made regarding the aerodynamics and stuff.. yet, i also wouldnt mind a nice Hemi Cuda, or a 67 Shelby (Gone in 60 Secs).. I think it all depends on the car, and what you use it for.. I wouldnt mind having a WRX with the whole spolier and lowered suspension.. yet, then again, a nice Porche 996 TT wouldnt suit me bad either..

And you are correct.. Different mentalities in different continents..

Not sure if what i said made any sense or not.. or if it was even worth posting

Tortuga and GeaKana

Nice cars.

GeaKana,

I really like the rear wing, completes the EVO II look and think you probably need it with the number you are putting out.

I know what the expensive European cars look like but what do the average Joe's over there drive? Like, when you are driving during rushhour, what do you see on the street?
