Update to my C2S:
Well, I have 4500 miles on her and have gone through one airdam lip. Found the GT3 lip is same, but not primed and just a matte black. Seeing I'll go through these, I'll stick with the GT3 ones for now.
Engine fully run in and OMFG this car is SIC!

Do you know you can hit 107Mph in 3rd and still have more room in rpm? Hit the Sport button and the exhaust opens up for more music from the flat 6. It also sets a faster throddle responce. Best effect.? Sneek up to a RICER car as he whines his engine to sound like a leaf blower to try to get my attention. I then hit the Sport button and blip the throddle and look back to see what reaction I get. Normally I'll get a thumbs up and just leave normally. Other times a quick stab and I'm off like a flash. All he sees is the Aero wing. :chuckle: Oh yea, no dipstick. All electronic oil level.
Handling is by far the best thing about these cars! Stick like glue, point and go! Tires are P Zero Rosso's with 295/30/19 in rear. These never loose traction. I'll see how long they hold up. And with the PCCB's, I loose a whole lot of weight from having ceramic rotors. Hit the Sport button and keep the PASM to Sport and it firms up for track use. Not fun on normal roads, but on smooth roads, WOW!

No body movement at all with it on!
Braking: What can I say, Ceramic brakes ALL should be standard! No matter what or how hot they get... Always remain the same feel. It's also like throwing out an anchor! I did have a bit of whining on the fronts and thought it was a sticking pad or caliper piston (six in front per caliper) but may have been bearing seal. Dealer did not find it, hears it, so Porsche NA rep is going to examine the noise as they may have hear it. Besides, having PCCB's always gets them involved anyway. They really like control on these high $$ items to make sure that they perform and also have no issues as the first generations did. Oh, did I mention that to replace A rotor is $5000? You read that right... $5K PER ROTOR!
Interior: Best seats by far! Best looking too inside since I have full leather option. As for treatments, I found Z-10 too strong and odor. Porsche leather has a very unique smell to it. Never experienced this before. So, it's 1Z Lederfledge for now. Stereo (BOSE) is OK, it's no Mark Leviensen like I had in the Lexus SC430, but who cares? I listen to the engine mostly. Nice having satellite (Sirus) so I can listen to Howard in the morning. Nav is not touch-screen as it was in the Lexus. OK, now I understand German thinking... You DRIVE the car, not fiddle with electronic gizmos. NAV is a pain to master on this car. I also have what other C2S owners like to call the "wart" or the chrono clock on the dash. Interesting to use and it interfaces with the PCM screen.
Exterior: It's showing a bit of age in having some marring and thank God for paint film! Other than that, with Zaino on it, it's just wash, dry, QD done. Man this thing looks insane when clean.
Every now and then I still pinch myself... I finally got my exotic besides the Ferarri F430-F1 which was waaay out of my reach for now.
Thanks to all who have added comments! I only wish there was the Poorboys Detail day to bring this beast so everyone can see it close up.
Those of you in the Tri-State area.... You'll see me now and then in Connecticut, Westchester and of course, Woodbury Commons (payback from the wife is a *****, but hey... I got my Porsche) and I lost my office upstairs, but I got my Porsche!
One last thing. These things are "chick magnets" to the extreme! :getdown :2thumbs:
Regards,
Deanski
