My new Porsche Carrera S

Hey THANKS GUYS! :thx You know I'm just chomping at the bit!

Monday I have to deal with paperwork and to make sure the K-40 gets put in the correct location in the front air-dam. Now, no more head unit! Just a small remote to turn it on/off. All Bluetooth!

I just picked up a new CD of Sammy Hagar VOA so I can play my tune as I leave! Then, just listening to the sweet music from the Porsche Sport Exhaust.

I have to break her in for 2K miles (not over 4K-RPM) and you KNOW how hard that's going to be!

More pics to follow Monday! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Sign up here if you're not already signed up. Nice by-the-way. I currently have a black GT and it's a mission to keep it clean/swirl free. Hope it's not your first black car.

DAN

THANKS! :thx

Nope, had a black Lexus prior. That's why I'm getting Armorglove for the front.

I'm a member of RENNLIST, RENNTECH and RENNTEAM. I may join 6speed.

Deanski...

Very nice, and congrats... Did you think about having the speedo and tach faces in yellow as well? :bow

Thanks! :thx

I did think of doing that, but I thought it would look a bit much. Doesn't take much to change them later if I decide to. I just wanted a little highlight of yellow.

But, another RENNLIST member has red accents on his door panel.

Red Accepts Nice touch. Maybe I'll do a yellow one!

That is one HOT car! :2thumbs:

Looks like it could use a little more yellow inside for accents. Not many folks would connect the calipers to the seatbelts - even though they are both designed to stop you.

 I just wanted to comment and say that is one SICK RIDE... I also wanted to let you know about your radar detector you have chosen... I have done countless hours of research and I would be a little scared with your system.. I know it says its good and its a great idea.. However... my research has found that a detector system is almost always better than a dual system (one with jammer). Such as a V1 and some elite others. As far as jammer goes the combo of laser shield along with Blinder Extreme or Escort Shifter... Or some new stuff AL6 or whatever seem to work the best. Take a look at radardetector.net and just browse.. Maybe just some interesting reading for you.... I WOULD HATE FOR YOU TO GET PULLED OVER FOR ANYTHING BESIDES FOR THE COP TO LOOK AT THE CAR! Congrats and have a good night.. cant wait for more pictures

Very soon, I'll take delivery!! :wow:

Armorglove was installing film on it when I checked her late today!

More to come!!! :bounce

I finally took delivery of my new Porsche! :grinno: :grinno: :grinno:

I'm having so much fun with it, I've yet to take pics! Dealer took a few more when it was fully detailed and looking so stunning with that deep black!

I promise to get more pics up as soon as I can!

THIS IS ONE SICK CAR!

The dealer detailed it?

Yes they did! I've seen the work they do on black and I have no problem having them do it! The lead detailer is up to Autopia standards!

"I've yet to take pics!" (translation: I'm having fun with my new car and don't care about those guys on Autopia) :woohoo:

All right, I'm going to take some this morning and get them up as soon as I can.

It does need to be washed, but I'm having waaaaay too much fun with this car! :D

Man, the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) sounds soooo nice! :xyxthumbs

I'll take pics on all sides and interior as well. Sorry guys, but work has me going nuts! Gotta be able to pay for this thing ya know!

When I get them up, look for the large fonts.
