i used my gilmore foam gun for the first time this morning and had an observation along with a question.. it did a good job of foaming the car with a ratio of " two glubs" of washing agent and the rest water, but i was wondering after seeing some videos of it being used on you tube if a 50/50 ratio would be better. it seems to me the more suds the better. am i mistaken? help this beginner out.

50/50 is too much. A waste of product. the "two glubs" you mentioned is about right. If it does a good job of pre-soaking and sudsing, that's what you want. The idea is to soften the dirt so it doesn't scratch the paint when you start to wash.

For harder water conditions, you may want to add a little more, but definitely not 50/50 (unless you have a lifetime supply of car wash soap!!!:D:D:D)
