My New Favorite Toy for SUV's/Trucks....

Picked this up at Lowes for $40 bucks and put some sandpaper tape accross it.

It's 20 inches up and the legs lock in place and you have a good amount of room to move around on.

Just thought I'd share incase any of you are still using little step stools or laters, this is your answer.:woot:

I spent the extra 25 and got the one with the extendable legs, came in handy when I did a '01 Expediation.

This looks like something even I could use. I am 6'5" 280lbs so I was worried about it being able to handle my weight.....but they make one that is rated at 300lbs. Thanks for sharing!!

don't worry about it there little guy you will be fine!

I got one a few years ago when I was working on a house with a 10' celing

at the time I had about 100lbs on you plus my tools so total a little over 400lbs

and it is still holding up very well!

 That would be perfect for those in-between vehicles that are too tall to get the roof without standing on the door sill but not so tall as to need a ladder.

Now all you need to do is buy another one for the other side of the vehicle. Time is money, you don't need to be carrying that from one side to the other.

It's worked perfect for me so far, I don't have to reach up and hang on with one hand on the car and one hand on the PC, or dirty up the clean door jams by standing on them. :woot2:

Just a safety note here and not to be nitpicky... Please make sure you lock both sides of the step ladder. Looking at the picture above, you did not hook the spring loaded swivel lock onto the legs of the platform. Locking onto the legs prevents them from folding in under you. I had a good friend almost take a serious header into the ground had I not locked the legs for him. This becomes a more serious problem on slanted driveways.

Yea, I know they're not locked, I only set that up to take a couple pics of it after I was done with the 4Runner, I always lock the legs when I'm actually using it.:bigups
