My new favorite Sealant is......(update & video w/Part A & B)

Ok, so is "A" stable and you can get a bottle of it in 16oz size or more, and "B" is like - open and use it all up quick? So maybe "B" would be in little bitty bottles? Am I right or just need another pot of coffee this morning?

Thanks

I don't mean to sound facetious, but apart from the two-part epoxy like system, what's so special about Nitro Seal? Super durability? Super tuffness?

David, looks like an awesome product and you picked an excellent car-Accord coupe- to try it on! :) I have the same in Belize Blue.

+1.. what's so nice about it? you keep saying it's nice but you don,t say why.

Well he's mentioned a few things, looks, lack of streaking... I assume durability is good, but I may be wrong (somehow I doubt I am, if I had to guess I will say a year will be common). Just the lack of streaking alone almost makes it worth it to me. Either way, looks like an interesting product.

didn't read the whole thread, but is it meant for durability or for high gloss? What existing product could this be related to (durability wise?) How long can one expect the gloss to last and should part B be the 'rejuvenator' to bring back lost gloss over time? Is it possible that a glaze + sealant could create the same results @ a portion of the cost?

I thought I'd bump this thread just add a couple more cars that were treated with Nitro Seal. I still use this product and it continues to exceed my expectations. Looks completely incredible and application is a breeze.

Both of these vehicles were final polished with HD Speed which in my opinion makes the foundation even more glossy and wetter when used in conjunction with Nitro Seal.

Both. It's gloss is unparrelled IMHO, but people have claimed that beading still remains past the 9 month mark.

None that are currently in the 3D/HD lineup, but it's basically a twin-turbo charged version of HD POXY. It's Montan Wax based which gives it it's great/unique appearance attributes. But the chemisty is very unique in the way that you mix the 2 parts ON THE CAR. Part A activates with Part B to form a strong bond.

Good question, and this will totally be dependent on how the vehicle is cared for. I've been told that you can reapply Part B <or> HD POXY to rejuvinate the gloss. BUT, and that's a BIG BUT,,,,,,, HD will be releasing a Gloss Enhancing Booster spray that looks very promising.

Personally Jaison, I don't think you can top the look of HD SPEED (glaze) & Nitro Seal. This combo takes the cake in respect to how great I've even been able to make a car look post correction. It really adds an incredible amount of glossy shine.

Just a question about your speed and nitro seal combination. After you use Speed, do you do any sort of IPA wipe down or just apply nitro right over? I would think the wax and oils left over from Speed would effect the bonding and longevity of HD Nitro's protection.

No, just go over it with Nitro. I don't even remove the SPEED residue. All HD products are chemically compatible.

Just as Alfisti (Paul) mentioned....as long as you are using the HD polishing system, there isn't any need to strip the surface for HD POXY or Nitro Seal. They all use the same base components and therefore there isn't any kind of chemical bonding confusion.
