Nitro Seal is a liquid refer to page one of this thread applied with pc this is part A ; Part B is a creamy mixture to be applied after you buff off the nitro seal it helps durability also probably helps keep its look longer.

Thanks. The issue now is the product shows as unavailable (the one Thomas linked), so I guess the deal is over. I was going to call today to order it. :x

Nope. I just used the sealant(part A). I can't wait to see what happenes when the bonding agent comes into play. If I were to make a guestimate based on 3D's current product pricing structure; I'd have to say it will be very affordable.

Part A is just like a traditional sealant as far as application goes (wipe on>wipe off). I can't comment on Part B until I try it 1st hand which will be next weekend.

UNO is a polish and NS & Poxy are both paint sealants. Nitro Seal has some very alternative new technology where you apply the Part B catalyst AFTER you apply/remove the sealant Part A.

David that's slick or what??? It looks like ice skating.:bounce
 
Not sure exactly (its probably proprietary), but the Duragloss product goes underneath the sealant where the Nitro Seal bonding agent goes over the sealant. I'd imagine doing it this way locks in the look and durability better.
 
Great question KB - 2 totally different products and technology all together. Sealant vs. Coating. Application, looks, cost and durability are different. The coating (to my eyes) doesn't alter the look of the surface where NS does. NS also is super slick where OC is actually grabby.
 
So, will you continue to use both products?

If so, will one be sold for its merits over the other?



And... do you still use waxes versus these two products?

I mean, do you still apply various LSP's simply by desire?

Not all clients and their cars will choose or qualify for OC. If they don't, I usually (99% of the time) apply a sealant.

Hardly ever do I use, recommend or buy waxes. They don't make sense for me in this hot/sunny environment. For the time being I will keep exclusively using Nitro Seal, but there's certainly no hard feelings for Blackfire, Zaino and all the others.
 
We will be showing it, but it will not be ready for sale yet. Should be released sometimes in August.
 
Used Nitro Seal again last weekend on this fly green vintage Porsche that I'm getting ready for a Concours event. So far NS has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Love it's glow.

David Fermani- How did the NS look on that (oh-so-beautiful!) vintage Porsche in person? I'm wondering "period correct look?"



Oh, and what about black/etc. trim? Is the NS trim-friendly?
 
I (and the owner) think it looked great. I've been maintaining this vehicle for a couple years and I've polished and sealed it a bunch of times. It's never looked better than is has after the NS! And yes, the car is 100%(or pretty darn close) to standard. The color is "Irish Green". No worries on the trim either(window seals). I actually used 1Z Gummi Pflege on the bumper pads and bodyside trim.
