My new favorite Sealant is......(update & video w/Part A & B)

Sorry to bring it up again but any word on the release date? Just wondering if it's in the range of a week or a couple months, ya know? Thanks in advance!
 
Found this on the info of the upcoming Autopia event: - New Pad System and Nitro Seal (Paste wax) Featured by 3D Products



Bit confused? It's a sealant, which contains no actual wax and I've never heard of a paste sealant... Would be nice for some quick clarification. I'm guessing it's coming out around the 25th though since that's when the event is.

I think I might have been a little hair-triggerish by posting this thread as I was just told that it was "Top Secret" and I leaked it prematurely. :tape2: :secret Opps. I wish I could tell you more, but Tunch will definately be clearing up some questions soon. :sleep:

I would definately say Yes(and no). And that's because these particular pads are waffle faced. But, they will also be offering a flat version as well which would be killer with a DA. These pads are similar to the CMA Constant Pressure design by having an interface/pre-core backing, but these are quite a bit more advanced IMHO. The backing material is super stiff (less loss of transfer/twist) and goes all the way to the end of the foam which means they will be quite durable too. It's almost like having a second backing plate that dissipates heat. I'm told that HD/3D will have the exclusive contract with the manufacture on these and will not be available anywhere else.

Too early to say (for me), but I saw a video of a car treated with this product that had been washed several dozen times. They tried resting a gloss meter on the hood, but it kept sliding off! :jaw: I hope Tunch posts it...:boink:

As being one of the original beta testers to the HD Car Care line, a few weeks back I was hand delivered this new product from Tunch to test prior to it getting it’s final seal of approval and certification. I tried Nitro Seal along with the latest & greatest UNO 3 version and I honestly can’t say enough great things about how the product worked. Thank God I had the proper canvas to test it on too as the way this product made this 2007 black Porsche Turbo look better than new. I’ve never seen black look so deep and reflective. Almost Zaino Z5esk, but much, much deeper. Application was a breeze too. 3-4 little drops on a finishing pad (speed 3 DA) and it spread over 3 panels and still wanted to go more. All in all, I probably used 12-15 peas sizes drops on the entire car. At 1st the product has to play catch up with the surface as you apply it. Once a thin coat is spread over the surface it almost acts like a jewelling polish how it keeps liking to be worked over and over coating the surface. This video shows what I mean:

One of the best things about the application of this product is the way it wipes off the surface. After applying it to the entire vehicle’s paint and glass, I went in and take a quick snack break while I let 2 fans blow over the car. Once I returned the sealant look and oily texture was unchanged. I was hesitant to wipe the product off the surface prematurely in fear of leaving a oily uncured film behind, but in amazement the product wiped off effortlessly. And, there were ZERO streaks and ZERO oily film. This product wiped so well off the surface that when I pulled in out into the sun, I didn’t need to do a single touch up. DONE! Plus, the surface is super thick feeling and slicking is on full tilt.

Dave that is a "Bad a** Porsche certified "Tightness", allright now I am intrigued.......... it was just that the original HD Uno did not work well for me so I Wrote off the line.
 
Bob, why would you write off the entire line if one product doesn't work? I have many companies products here, while some work great from each line other products may be outstanding. I know I'm preaching to the preacher, but I think if you try some of there other products "if you haven't already" you may be gratefull you did.



On a side note I really need to try these pads.
 
As soon as the bottle of Z5 is dried up, I will order this in. I know Zaino has it's followers and at the same time, people that don't like it, but IME, it's treated me well. If this product out performs it, I'm in.
 
David, I have a red, LC foam pad made for jeweling. Would this be ok to use and apply this product and maybe remove it?
