My new drying towel

I got a new drying towel from PAC on Monday. Do I have to wash it first before I use it?:dunno
 
Well I used my new Super Soft Waffle Weave Drying Towel today. The towel literally seemed to suck up the water. The towel dried the entire car and was hardly damp. For those who don't have this towel and looking for an alternative to what you're using I highly recommend this product.

Hmmmm.

Wish I woulda known about MF DRYING towels before I made my PAC order!

I got two kits (paint & leather), and they come with a total of like 12 "soft touch" MF towels. I thought I was set, towel-wise, as I thought towels were really for removing wax/polishing.

I was planning on using a chamois after washing, not towels, but towels sound better & more logical (chamois really just spread the water thinly, not totaly remove it).

Oh well, I'll get it eventually!
 
I used the waffle weave and a chamois when detailing my car on monday.

I found the waffle to be 3.259 times better than the chamois.

That number is based off of a series of calculated guesses and numbers that arbitrarily came to my mind.

Serioulsy, I love the waffle and was not a fan of the chamois.

If you want the "ultimate" tandem in drying............. pick yourself up one of PAC's Premium WW towels too. Then when you're done washing, use the Premium towel to "blot" the surface, and then use your Super Soft to very, very lightly wipe any remaining water (and there won't be much). That makes drying your vehicle about as swirl free as possible! :bigups

Is this the light blue 25x36 ww? ANd then the gray ww? I have both, but my gray one is much smaller though, but it does feel softer - both from PAC.
