I've read many thousands of posts here at Autopia but this was by far the hardest laugh I've had in a long time. Thank you so much for the well needed levity. I nearly fell of my chair when I saw the little bucket and sponge.

Patrick

Ditto that! :goodjob

I hope you didn't buy without checking modelcarfax because it looks like it might have been damaged in the past. It looks like there was a windshield replacement not up to factory specs. I would perform a careful leak test to see if there is a problem. You sure did wonders on the finish!

I was having a bad day until I read this. Thanks for giving me a good laugh and adding 7 years to my life.

I was just told about this thread and what a great laugh! Like Patrick I almost fell off my chair howling at the the debadging, foam gun and oh that bucket with sponge. Thanks for making my day, the Mustang really does look 100% improved. Congrats on the car. :woot:

Oh, Great job on bringing that faded Ford clearcoat back to life. What was your process?

I would check e-bay for those replacement rear view mirrors so you don't get a fix-it ticket!
