My New Detailing Rigg...(Pics Aplenty)

2004 Red F150 SuperCab XLT 4.6L Tritan.

Well, it's time to take it pro so I thought I'd better get a truck.

I plan on getting a fold up hard cover for the bed with organizers inside, 22 inch dark grey with chrome lip rims, painted side rails, front bumper lip as on the new 07 FX2's, mud flaps, tint front windows, new dark tail lights and dark headlights, lower a couple inches, alarm system and simple graphic pinstripe design to include my detail business name and info into the rear side panel above back tire. I will go for "show car" look as much as possible.

Here she is untouched, I haven't even clay'd or buffed out the swirls yet (which there are plenty of).

Very nice...will work out very well. I am going to have to trade one of my cars in for a truck as well. Currently working out of my 06' RSX..which I will keep, but ive also got a Stratus RT that will have to go.

Good luck with the conversion..

Looks nice! That red will get you noticed, good advertising. I had a 2004 black F150. That was a great truck. Only problem I had was it went through brakes like crazy. Enjoy the new ride.

Yea, brakes aren't the greatest on it, I'll upgrade them with something that's noticable too.....Bear or Brembo maybe to go along with the 22's I'll be sittin on.:getdown

That will go great! Or should I say "that will stop great". Can't wait to see some photos after too.

It's going to be a few months before I get it all put together the way I want it, I'm getting married this April so the honeymoon comes first.

I'll take some after pics once it's all buffed out, logo graphics installed, dark grey 22's and red brakes set, lowered, front lip isntalled, side painted rails and bed cover all completed, should look like a whole different truck by then.:hifive:

Also thinking of some long tube headers dumping out the side of the truck bare with no mufflers.

I hope your first plans for it are to dress the fenderwells....

;) Somebody had to say it!

Really nice looking truck! Good color for showing off your work without being such a pain in the a$$ like black. :)

I wasn't detailing it, just a quicky wash job since the sun peaked out after nearly three weeks of raining.

I was looking at black as the only other color choice.....glad I didn't I had a black 02 Corvette and must have washed it once or twice a week.......:hmph:

Wow, those things are expensive.

I will be wanting to work out of the truck, but I'll need a smaller water tank as I'll be covering the bed with a flip back hard cover and wonder if there's any low profile water tanks?? I can build something myself to clamp it all down with.:2thumbs:

Nice ride! I have a 2006 F-150 and really like it. It gets the job done. I think when my lease is up I will be looking at another one or a Ford Edge.

Great looking truck. My 03 Mustang had the same markings in the fender wells as your truck does. The marks that look like a tire tread. I don't get it ??
