Just finished up another coat of Zaino (it's going to be an outdoor car :( ) and shot a few pics RIGHT before the skies opened up (got 'er in the garage just in time!)



As I mentioned in another thread, I started with AIO to clean up the adhesive left over from the protective sheets and went on with 3x Z5, 1x Z2p full body + door jambs & trim... Cleaned the jambs up with AIO... A little 303 on the tires and wells, AIO+SG on the wheels.. Z glass polish and Z5 on the rear window (a test of sorts - I like it).



I tried ZPC on the hood, but ran into problems with it and it appears as if the cleaning action of ZPC (as well as AIO) uncovered a bit of a water spotting/etching issue, likely from sitting on the lot ... it's light, but noticable, but I'm going to leave it alone for now and address it most likely with its Spring polishing.



It's happy, I'm happy. We're all good :)

Now to finish breaking her in and teaching the soon-to-be-wife how to drive stick... I basically bought it for her.
 
thanks! i'm digging it a lot. I can't wait until I've got it comfortably broken in (I'm gonna go with the recommended 1000-1500mi) but I can still have a lot of fun under 4k :)



it's an interesting color and the flake is pretty small... The Z sort of reflects more than enhances at this point, but it's a trade-off, since this will be an outdoor car :(



I guess I can always top it when I'm finished layering... I think I'm satisfied that i've gotten what i'm getting out of the z5 and will be going z2pro from here on out. Maybe top with p21s or #16... If I could get some natty's blue, I'd use that :)



is it just me or is it just plain too damned hot to be doing this? I go out and leisurely apply a coat of Z and by the time I'm done, I need a shower. Same for buffing it off... Or even a QD... Ugh.
 
It's not just you, it's hot as hell. The heat index readings haven't been under 100 here in Houston for about a month and a half now. Most afternoons lately 105-110. Torture.
