Nattys Red...

All I did was wash, dry and apply Nattys Red. Thought I would just post some after pics. The one on the hood with the jar of Nattys was the only place I could find on the hood where it would not slide off. Very Slick stuff...

I didn't do any polishing or claying. it needs a light polish, but I did not have the time. I have washed it about 5 times in the last week and added a coat each time, not sure 5 coats stays on, but its fun none the less. I did the tires a few days ago so they look kind of off but again I only wanted to show the red.

Very nice job! What are your thoughts on the red? I have a jar myself, I'm just interested to see what everyone else thinks.
 
Thanks to both...I really like the red and yes applied it thin, especially after reading the instructions and getting the applicator pad slightly damp. I found this really helped to spread the wax evenly.

The pictures reallly don't do it justice as I am slightly retared when it comes time to take pictures...but in person the paint is extremely deep in color...its odd I find myself staring at it.
 
Nice MO Stephan and the Nattys red is my go to paste wax....I have one question...tomorrow have a look at the finish to see if you get a blue like haziness...I ask this because on my jet black BMW the next day I do and that is the only color / car that I have used it on that I can see that evidence the next day...You have black or a real dark color so I'm interested in what you see.
The cure for me is a cold water rinse
 
When I last detailed my black A4, I used EX-P and topped it with two coats of Natty's Red and didn't notice any blue haze at all. Did you use the Red as your only LSP product or was it a topper to something else?
 
I've seen it on a bunch of different colors and seen only that haze on black when i didn't let it cure long enough :notme:

No this was the LSP after Presta SWR and 1500 Polish....quite honest this jet black BMW paint is the only one that I have noticed this, with not just Nattys other waxes and sealants have produced similar effect...the best finish for this color is SWR & P-w-S or P-w-C..and nothing else......I talked to Steve and he thinks its the oils out-gassing and you might see more of that on black....This JB BMW is the second one that I have owned and both had the same thing...Don't know why...could be BMW again who knows......I still think that its the oils evaporating

Yesterday I got up and was about to take the car out of the garage when I noticed what looked to be like a film on the hood of my car. I was pretty sure that I removed the wax from the hood, so I wiped off a little bit with a MFT and it was clear. So maybe thats what you are referring to.

I did notice before I washed it, when like you say give it a cold water rinse, it looked even better then when I had just applied the wax.

That is what I am talking about the film / haze is from the oils in the wax...cold water rinse and it dosen't come back..not even the S&W takes it off...I've tried

What makes it different from something like Soveregn, which I had never seen that happen with. I imagine that must have oils in it as well.
