My Mobile Setup

I see that you have a return line coming from your PW and was wondering if anyone here knows how to rig that. One of my biggest time wasters is having to turn my PW on and off, so not to burn the pump up.

Your local pressure washer supply should know how to do that. I haven't had to use one so I don't have first hand experience with installing one. I believe it's a thermal relief valve that you need to install with a return hose.

It's never been a big deal for me to turn mine on and off because it's electric.

southerndetail............... why do you want to have a pw bypass is my question. there is no need to let your pw constantly run, unless restarting it is too much of a hassle for you. if it's the distance , you can always integrate a remote start set up, which is handy.
what kind of pw set up do you have? is is a custom unit or store bought mounted to your rig?here is the number for the guy that builds all of my PW. he is the bomb 803-466-9846 John he is in Columbia,SC.
He built my 22hp Kohler belt drive with 5000 psi for my mobile set up.I don't do mobile anymore , but I use the same set up at my shop

Oh boy you don't know diddly do you.

Just for new people wondering if they see his post, that bypass is ment to keep the pump from burning up. If you were to let a pressure washer without a bypass run by itself without using it, it would burn up in minutes. With a by pass you could let it run til it runs out of gas without causing damage to the pump.

Hey guys I am thinking about putting together a mobile rig to make some extra money in the summer. I have found a pressure washer that looks exactly like the one in the pictures of the first post the guy selling it wants $300 is that a good deal or not, thanks in advance

If it's a Pressure Washer with a Honda engine that is in good shape and it has a GX engine as opposed to the GP engine, it's probably a pretty good buy. I think the one in the picture is a 5 or 6 horse, could be bigger but a I can't tell. When it comes to pressure washers chances are that the engine will outlast the pump in most cases.
