<strong class='bbc'>OK I have searched and I find crap n the internet how about a link to a good HID conversion site.

Ever hear of the 9011 bulb? That is the high beam on my truck. I have 9006 for lows but I would like to replace them all so it looks better when changing from hi to lo. Or is this not recc due to the warm up thingy? [/b]</blockquote>
You want to replace both lights with HID conversions? I have never heard of the 9011 bulb, I would just get the 9006 HID conversions, the low beams will be so bright, you won't need the high beams. Also, if your headlights have DRL function, make sure you know how to disconnect or disable it, because the DRL won't provide enough voltage to create the arc for the HID. It will have a cool strobing effect though. About the HID sites. www.autotoys.com has some good info. But let me find somemore for you guys.

You will lose your high beams with the HID conversions. But who cares! The warm up, the HID color, is way too cool to even care about that stuff. Plus, it makes the guy with the fake blue bulbs look stupid when you turn them on, and they are deep deep blue, then glow to a Magnesium white color. :up :up Two thumbs up for HID.

I have actually 4 sets of lights:

DRL

Foglamps

highbeams

low beams

I want the fogs to be HID as well. So if I HID for LOWs than I never have to use high beams. The 9011 looks like a 9006. I never heard of it either till I looked.

I am gonna check the sites you listed...and research.

Well..if you would like something to give you massive amounts of light, do what I did. I mounted 2 PIAA 80 Series Pencil beam off road lights on a Prerunner bumper. So I got my fog lights for close range, HID for med to long range, ad 2 Pencil beam off road lights for crazy long distance lighting! I was going to buy a set of Hella Rallye 4000 HID off road lamps, but I felt they would of been too easy to steal.

My lights are all stock...I was wondering how it would work if I had both the lo and hi as HID...On my truck the lows go off when the highs come on.

Guess I could buy the kit to keep the lows on when the highs are on.

I will look into the stock fogs later..

Somewhere in the pic section is the front end of my truck...go look you will know what I mean.

You would be blinding oncoming traffic, but its very possible, because you wouldn't be drawing that much total power 35watts x 4 140 watts of lighting draw, 150x4 = 600 watts of lighting output. If I were you, I would just get leave the high beams, and get low beams, and fog lights.

Do they make GTs in autos? I think they are all 5 speeds. Maybe I'm wrong. An auto GT would take all the fun out of those ponies. :D

Nice setup. I'm a PIAA fan too HERE is a pic of the front of my truck with a pair of 959 foglights down low and a pair of 910 lights on top. The 910's use a 110 watt bulb in each light so I have to be careful about where I use them.

Nice :up , PIAA does make an excellent product, but I think I just got these for the white lens covers that had PIAA on it :D

One thing that is cool about the 910s is even though they are very bright and should have covers over them on the street, they don't look like typical large offroad lights. LEOs around here will sometimes pull over someone that doesn't have covers over their offroad lights but I've never been bothered. (knock on wood)

When we go dirt bike riding in the desert it would be really nice to have those big offroad lights on the truck. I guess I would have to then dim my lights in 3 stages, first the offroad lights, then the 910s then the high beams. :)

There are a lot of Maximas running around with HID conversions (Primarily Osrams and a new one I can't seem to think of at the moment). The problem with many HID conversions is that you will lose your Hi-Beams.

The only HID conversion that gives a Maxima Owner (2000-2001) true HID without sacrificing the high beam is the 2002 Maxima Headlight conversion. Many of the 5th Gens (e.*. Floni's) have done this with little to no modification.

Clean Dean, You can get Xenons for your c-class at autoclass.net They are the mercedes original xenon lights but at cheaper prices then the dealer. However if you want to hook up the auto leveling sensors it will be $$$$. :down

I have 14 months left on the lease and I can't wait to get rid of it, so xenons are out. :( However, for the past (2) days my wife has had a ML as a loner from our local dealership, and she loves it. After seeing the pics of your black ML, I will definitely be tempted to purchase an ML next time around.

P.S. If you have a chance let me know your evaluation of the ML. Thanks

I absolutely love my ML320. Many have said (including JohnN ;) ) that the 99 models were highly problematic; however, I have had minimal problems with mine. The problems I have had is a bad fuel gauge (you probably had that on the C-class too), and problems that were related to a leaky windshield (dealer's fault), thats about it. Highway ride is excellent and very quiet, but in the city it is somewhat rough riding. The 320 pulls pretty hard from 0-60 but sometimes on the highway I want a little bit more go. The newer ML's are even better because they have a more refined suspension now, auto climate control, better leather, an abundance of soft touch plastics, more sound insulation, digital stereo system, etc. If I had to do it again I would buy the ML but get the bigger motor (ML500), with the ML500 you get the massive 13.6 inch front rotors with 4 piston calipers. Well worth the money! I love the new styling , and the bi-xenons are a MUST!

check out the designo interior. Two-tone nappa leather (unclearcoated), special wood trim, special designo floor mats with leather surround, etc. If it was available in 99 I would have jumped on it, the leather alone is worth it.
