My Menzerna lineup, what steps do you take?

I have the PC 7424 with menzerna SIP, 106FA and PO85rd (LC orange, white, black, blue pads). Now I know I have top notch products but trying to get an idea on how BEST to use them efficiently. I know i will get better with experience but say there are some minor swirls in a car. Would you first try the 106FA/white combo to see if they can be removed, then if not step up to the SIP/orange? Or just right off the bat try use the SIP/orange. Or if the 106FA/white doesnt work use 106FA/orange. You know what i mean, I'm trying to understand steps to try out without wasting product. Just looking for suggestions on how you determine what products/pads to use.

Generally speaking, you use more aggressive pads with more aggressive products. I've never heard of using 106 with an orange pad. The 106 and PO85 are finishing polishes and would be used with the white, black or blue pads, while the SIP, as a medium polish would be used with the orange or white pads.

As far as "say the car has a few swirls...", well, some of it depends on how hard the paint is (what kind of car). If you're trying to start with the least agressive method first, start with the 106 on a white pad. If that doesn't cut it, go to SIP/white, then SIP orange.

I haven't used SIP, only IP, but honestly IP isn't very agressive. If you've got swirls, I would just start with the SIP on a white pad and go up or down from there.

The SIP/white is what i've heard as well so i'll probly start there, thanks. The other thing i was wondering is, it seems PO85rd is typically used for jeweling w/ a blue pad. Does it matter to follow the SIP/white with PO85rd/blue, or should it typically be SIP/white then 106FA then PO85rd.

I have heard that SIP works slightly better with Wool pads. You might try picking up a few PFW pads if your SIP decides to argue with your orange pads. With 2 steps of finishing you'll be sure to clean up any holograms that could occur from the wool.

So PFW is ok for a PC? I dont remember where but i thought i read that wool wasnt good for a random orbital. Of course you can read anything on the internet.
