Just a feeler on how everyone is washing these days.

I always wash wheels & wells first. I always use a pressure washer to wash the wheels/wells and then clean them with *something* (what that something is - depends how dirty the car is) in a spray bottle and wheel cleaning tools.

I always pressure wash paint before touching it (+/- foaming). This is likely why I never have any swirling or marring issues. Then I either 2BM or GDWM - the later 90% of the time.

Final rinse prior to GDWM or after 2BM is always DI water. Atmosphere dries most; then I wipe down with a QD or spray wax.

I would also add a pressure washer helps clean better, faster, and less water.

I'm 90% traditional hose and bucket, the only exceptions are during the winter where I resort to DIY wand bays + rinseless or occasionally touchless tunnel wash and I sometimes do spot clean-ups with waterless when traveling out-of-state.
Right now I don't own a pressure washer, I might look into one of the $200 SunJoes unless someone has a better suggestion for under $300. I hate throwaway tools but I can't afford a Kranzle.

I know the feeling. I went through several marchers, huskys and a AR before I pulled the trigger on a kranzel. Sing I got it I have used it to do my deck, wash my house and for the cars. So,I have deluded myself and wife into the fact that it will eventually pay for itself.
