today i detailed my interior, first iused meguaires apc, then used ez1 cockpit premium, but i noticed i see alot of white chalky streaks on the vinyl and my interior vinyl looks blotchy even after i went over with a mf towel. what can i do to slove this promblem.

thankss

What ratio did you dillute the APC to? Did you spray the APC and the ez1 directly onto the surface or on MF towel and then wipe?

I've seen that when I spray the APC directly on the vinyl and let it sit too long and drip down.

i used about dillute ratio 2:8, i put ez1 cockpit premium on after, and it still chalks, when u rub or touch the vinyl, what can i use to stop doing this?

2:8? Should be 20:1 water/apc for interior. I also wipe with a damp clother afterwards. Sounds like there nmight be APC left on the dash afterwards.

most interior dressings use silicones, not 100% sure ez1 does though.

an APC is a degreaser.

Sounds to me like the two are just reacting with one another. A agree that a 4:1 water/apc solution is too strong, I personally use 10:1 for interiors unless the area is really really bad. Try a new solution of 10:1 or 20:1, whichever you perfer, and do a single door panel. Dry, then wet a towel with water and wipe down again. Dry, then use your interior dressing. It shouldn't be streaking now.

If it works, remove the water wipe step and see if anything changes. If not then your problem was definitely excess APC.

I've also had problems (rarely) in the past if I let my interior dressings sit too long. If you are spraying and wiping this isn't your issue, if you are spraying the whole car then wiping off, try another method.

just tryed but no luck :( i have no idea whats causing this, when ever i rub my finger or even rub it with a mf cloth it makes these white chalky lines, any other solution? maybe the dryness of the vinyl is causing the chalky streaking, i dunno what i should do? by the way the best way to describe the chalky streaks are that they look like a scuff, but they rub off, with water, but later come back when dryed, or rubbed by a cloth or even finger.
