My garage is getting painted :D

Early tomorrow morning my uncle is coming over with his painting supplies to paint my interior garage walls light beige. That will help my light situation in there I think. So I spent most of the day today cleaning the garage. Man am I a pack rat! My garage looks empty now and I love it! No more tools all over the place, all of my sockets and wrenches are back at home resting in the tool box instead of laying in engine bays and on the floor. Today I also added one more flourescent shop light. I am thinking of ditching all of my 4' shop lights for 8' ones though. And my waxes and polishes have a new home in a little carry along thing I bought too. I am FINALLY getting organized!

2001civicex- Glad to hear you're making progress. Heh heh, the trick to an organized garage is STAYING organized.

I spent Saturday afternoon cleaning out, re-organizing and rearranging my garage..started at 1:30 PM, finished at 10:30 PM. The winter grunge has been expunged!

I filled the back of my F-150 with a lot of boxes of junk and trash, and got my detailing supplies all neat and pretty. I found some supplies that I forgot I had! ;)

A friend of mine gave me her old stereo system (5 disc CD changer, amp and cassette deck), which I added to the AM/FM stereo radio that I already had.

A clean garage, new tunes, new PC 7424...

Life is good! :spot

While you have it empty/are painting. Have you thought about painting the floor? It really makes things nice when you have a bright floor as well.

VrooomCrash,

Have you painted your floor? If so did you pay to have it done or did you do it yourself? I have not found anyone in my area that has any experience with painting floors that is even half way reasonable in price. I have been debating this idea for 4 months now and keep changing my mind. I really want to try to do it myself. My garage floor is new and has not had any oil or other fluids on it to mess with the bonding.

I like your taste in vehicles:D What year is your 993?

How long have you had it down? Any problems with it lifting? Do you use a floor jack on it? If so, do the wheels scratch up the floor? Thanks for the info.
