My flyer design- need some advice

for a neighborhood flyer, it looks real nice. Only question is where are you having them printed in color at a reasonable price?

All in my opinion of course. . .

Make "Stow" larger than "Auto Detailing " and maybe fade out the image behind a tad more so your name comes off more.

Instead of "Automotive Detailing Services" try something like "Your professional neighborhood auto-care service" or something.

Check your spelling again. Many mistakes.

You might just state that you are available M-Sat afternoons and when you receive a call from someone book them "when you have an opening."

An inspection determines a quote not an estimate. "Call for a free estimate today!" ??

Under the Exp_R_ess detail, place the polish before the Wax/Sealant step.

Hope you don't feel like I ripped you apart. It looks damn good, better than I could have done with photoshop or any DP app for that matter. Good work!

edit: I have had great results with PolyDot Printing in California. Great quality and pretty decent prices.

Looks good to me! Can you remove the emblem from the grill of the larger honda? Not a big deal. Can I also suggest that you set a budget for your advertising and see how many of each kind you can get from that. I would personally rather print 250 color than 500 b&w. How many residences are in the area you are drawing prospective clients from?

i planed to remove the emblem along time ago. but forgot to. its a honda accord euro R in europe and over here in the US its a Acura TSX. im still looking for a place to get my flyers printed. thinking in color, one sided 8.5 x 11 and getting 250+ printed. my budget it around $200 or less.

AutoNova - i created the image using Photoshop. its not on paper yet.

thanks for all the respondes

I think that you should try and make the picture up top a little more blended in. Like take and cut around the car a little more, just so there isn't a "box" of colour around there. Otherwise I really like it :)

Looks pretty good. I'll try to be as picky as possible and give you my opinions to do with as you like:

I would suggest leaving out or changing the wording of the tag line "Your professional neighborhood auto-care service." The term "auto care service" is much more commonly understood to be a mechanic service. I know the rest of the flyer infers that you mean detailing, but you don't want people calling to check if you also do tune-ups and oil changes.

I would also suggest using two different types of vehicles in your background. Maybe leave the top car as is and put an Escalade, Viper, or Harley below. That would show a little diversity in the types of vehicles you handle. I'd also stick to dark colored vehicles, as the reflections show better at the lower resolution and saturation.

At the bottom, I don't see a need to include your address, unless it is an actual shop. You want people to call for an appointment, not stop by at their leisure. And there's no sense running the risk of being accused of operating an unlicensed business in a residential location. Just drop that and write "Located in Stow Woods...We're in the neighborhood!"

Lastly, I'd drop unnecessary abbreviations. You have plenty of space to write "By appointment only, Monday through Saturday." I would even leave off the word "afternoons." That gives away that you are doing this as some kind of part time side job. People will call not knowing when you have an available appointment, and you can just set them up for the afternoons. They can assume that you have a busy schedule of their neighbors cars all morning.

HTH

Good luck.
