My florida Experience and my next purchase...

hey guys, well i am in stuart FL on vacation and am enjoying myself immensely. Yesterday i took a ride up to tampa and met with brian (VAsupershine). I had a BLAST with him detailing my moms PT cruiser a little. And believe me, there is a reason why he does a lot of high end cars, he is the best i have ever seen at detailing. We went over wetsanding and when i get back home (and the weather clears up, its about 50 back there) and after i purchase some papers (where can i get them BTW), i am going to wetsand my moms WHOLE pt cruiser and polish it out. AND AGAIN, THANKS BRIAN!!!! And todd it was too bad we werent able to meet up! Hope you had fun with the yankees though. They're my favorite team. Hope to see you in 2 weeks. And i think i am giong to be flying back down here in 2 weeks for detailfest! Thanks for telling us brian!



For those who dont know, AG is based in stuart. While im here i am going to pick some stuff up. Heres what i am thinking. There are a few things in here from CMA and DD and a few others that AG doesn't sell.

-cobra guzzler drying towel

-EZ detail brush

-autogeek foam master (quart)... GRRR but its on backorder, im hoping when i go over there they are going to have 1 in stock though

-http://www.properautocare.com/mrfumiwami.html ... the orange 1, i like the sponges a lot better then the mitts.

-megs 105 (also on backorder)

-1Z Einszett Industrie-Reiniger Industrial Cleaner



i think thats pretty much it.



If there is any inputs on the products please note them! ANyone know of anything else i need to try?

Also, does anyone know of any other good wheel cleaner then P21S thats a little cheaper?
 
Save your money on that muppet-head wash sponge, you can get that one at Wal-Mart, although I prefer the Target Vroom version with no mesh for $2.99.

O thanks setec! Its the same one? Wow lol, ile bet CMA still sells tons!
 
it is pretty horrible. Dont worry, brian said that in order to make the car perfect this is needed. It is VERY bad.



Plus... I HATE THIS DAMN CAR!!!! I think we will end up buying the HHR SS. My dad likes them and apparently they are really nice cars.
 
Glad you enjoy your stay here in Floirda and met up with Brian too. I'm still 50/50 on going to DF, if i do go hope to meet you there Daniel.
