What year Legend do you have & is it the coupe or sedan?

I have a 95 4 dr sedan, it is like new , I have had it for about 5 years. For a black car this car shines good but I want it to shine like some of the pics I seen on this site. Any suggestions? I currently wash it once a week and wax it one a month w/ Mequiars NXT Gen. I understand "claying" is a start to a great shine so that was going to be my next plan.

Hey Legend,

As a sponsor, just wanted to say WELCOME!!

You are absolutely right about clay, it is an essential part to a full detail. Clay has gone mainstream in the past 3 years or so, as it used to be a bodyshop only type of tool. There are a few clays out there, some harder, some softer, some with abrasives, and some with none. Do a search for clay and you'll pull up a ton of info for sure. As always, if you have any questions, that is what DC is for :bigups

What 91LSMAN has not said hi yet?? I think he gets a personal phone call when someone with a legend joins the site :lol

I did my first "claying" on my ride, and I think I did well . My car had a good shine before BUT the shine I have now is unbelievable!

Thanks for all the tips
