My first FR-S new car prep + Opti Coat

Took around 10 hours over 2 days to fix the dealership prep.

Process:

Q&EW

D300.MF pads

205 black pad

HD Cut in some places

IPA wipe

Opti Guard

3D tire shine

Paint/trim/windows/wheels coated.

I had very little space to work this time, so not a huge variety of shots.

The hood had a pretty large scratch, that the dealer's detailer "buffed" out (8-9 microns were removed)

Looks like he was called away after the first step and didn't have time to finish the project :D

Here we are, the car is ready for the cutting stage.

Thanks for checking it out!

Great job, that paint looks amazing. I am chomping the bit hoping to get a phone call to do one of these. :)

Very nice!

Its a shame how terrible the dealer prep has been on such an important car for both Toyota and Subaru.

Thank you Scott and Mike!

I agree Scott, but dealerships are dealerships.

The manager (over the phone) promised me work and classes for his detailing department if I were to give him a better price. I just had to laugh.
