My final ?s about 1z polishes

I'm prepared to finally get the 1z polishes, my last questions about them is do they truly remove swirls and light scratches ( aren't the red and green cans lightly abrasive?) or do they just brighten the paint or in some way or another partially fill in whatever they can't remove? If this is the case, must I stay on top of them and reapply, say every 2 months? If they don't truly remove, the advantage appears to be that one is getting a very easy to use product without sacrificing too much clear coat. Any input welcome.

Yes, they DO mechanically/abrasively remove marring. See the other thread (started my Malachi) for more.

Don't fret, the 1Z stuff will remove the swirls and light scratches as advertised. I think with paint polishing there is a fine line you strive to reach, preserve as much paint as possible while removing blemishes and contaminants. 1Z does this very good by using fillers to diminish the deeper scratches, while still remaining a very easy product to work with.

I've been sold for a while, just figure I triple check while waiting for some warmer weather to order the stuff, If I see the 40s any time soon, things will sure look nice!
