My EX-P+ Review

I'll start off by saying that this stuff looks just like EX-P, but smells different, and it's thicker. Some people complained about it being too thick, but I haven't found that to be a problem.

Washed the car, and got to work with S100 SEPC and a polishing pad. After that, I applied EX-P+ with a finishing pad. I spreaded it and blotted it around with the PC off, then applied it on speed 3. The product spreaded much more even and thinner than I expected it to, being that it's so thick.

I let it sit for about 30-40 minutes, then buffed it off. It buffed off just like I expected it would -- just like EX-P, EX, Wolfgang, etc.....effortlessly. Left a nice rich, wet looking finish, and the slickness was WAY better than EX-P. Feels there with Wolfgang and UPP.

24 hours later (today), I applied the 2nd layer by hand with a rectangular foam Clearkote wax applicator. I had the same experience as above.

I will try my hardest to not re-wax the car in the coming weeks, and I will keep you guys posted with durability updates.

So far, I'd say Steve has another quality paint sealant on his hands :bigups

Thanks for the review Matt...how 'bout some pics?! I can't wait to see it on your car.

Oops sorry! LOL. I'll try to pull it out in the sun tomorrow and snap some pics.

Thanks Matt. Your car always looks great! I'm loving it on my silver paint.

Thanks! I think I have mental issues though, because I find myself polishing and waxing every week or two :brick

:lol

Here's a pic of the sample bottle and MF I got from Steve.
No wonder I couldn't find it in Poorboy's World. This is a beta product, then? When will the average joe be able to purchase it?

Yup right now it is just being tested. From what I heard, it may be available this spring.

Pics from 2 days ago came out like crap, and the car was on jackstands yesterday because I needed to take one of my tires to get patched (finally got that done this morning).

Snapped some good pics this afternoon. Enjoy!

BTW, Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel is on the tires.

Matt thanks for the review.
Car looks great as always.
By the way the sample bottle likes like a jar of mayo :lol

:wow Looks Awesome :wow . That second picture of the fender really looks like it was dipped in salad oil. :bigups

mmmmmmmm tempting.... i cant wait till this thing hits the market. the next test should compare EXP+ on light car and on a dark car to see if one stands out more. sweet job on the tires and rims too! those rims were about to blind me!

lol thanks for the compliments everyone!

Always feels great when someone compliments your work :D

Steve - feel free to use any of the pics if you'd like :)

If you need some bug stuff tested, lemme know. Driving the Excursion up to NY after Christmas :shift

Would be nice to do the EX-P+ to the Excursion and seen how it held up w/the long drive. Putting some wear on the finish as well as some winter driving.

When I get back from NY, the Excursion is getting a 3-step acidic wash to remove the industrial fallout/rail dust that claying couldn't get out. After that, either EX-P+ or Zaino (need something durable since it stays outside 24/7).

I am also testing EX-P+ and I will test it on a light, medium and dark color. I will post up the pics here within the week! BTW, Matt the car looks amazing!

I'm hoping to try it on a silver metallic and a dark green metallic some time next week.
