My dream car

Yesterday I was at a Cruise night and saw a lime green 70 Road Runner to die for. MINT condition. It had a rare 440 6 pack, my favorite combination of model/year/motor. I wanted to find the owner to ask him if I could make love to his car, I mean detail it. I could not find him, so I just walked around the car a while and got goose bumps. it probably stickered for 3 grand, now its worth ????????? dreaming again. Gary

I know what you mean. Two fellas in my class of 70 purchased new cars that were the envy of the whole class for graduation. one of them is the exact car that you are talking about less the sixpack. the other was a GTO Judge.

Funny, what I remember most is that they both had pistol grip shift handles.

AS far as I know they both have their cars stored on their respective farms still enjoying them.

Thanks for the reminder!!

Back in 1980 I had the opportunity to buy a Plymouth Superbird with a 440 6 Pack under the hood, and a 426 Hemi sitting on a pallet. Could have had the whole package for $4500 but I was in college and back then that was way more cash than I had laying around.

If only I'd known then that those cars would appreciate so dramatically. Of course, had I know Microsoft would.....ah, never mind, you get it.

Hey MIke is that you from Cruiser Links? Gary

Yes and no. It's me from PTCrew.....last year Cruiser Links was banning everyone who starting hanging out at PTCrew and, well, guilt by association I guess!

What can I say Gary, you and I had two phone conversations and you turned me into a monster with this obsession to keep my cars looking perfect!! I thank you, my cars thank you, my wallet......not so much :LOLOL

Mike, its too bad a forum has to ban someone just for hanging elsewhere. You should see my car, I finally had a chance to detail my own ride. spent 7 hours on it, man o man, does it rock. Glad you are enjoying my products. stay in touch.....Gary
