my detailing shop is not making money

WTF? Did/does this make you feel good about yourself? Pretty pathetic IMHO. Maybe they do things differently in NY, but I’d never put up with that crap. My business ran like clock work and my dealers never took advantage of me EVER! Doing freebies is the cost of doing business for anyone that’s successful in this field. Telling your customer “no won’t get you very far, especially when they send out work every day, all day, rain or snow. Picking your battles is one thing, dealing with this type of abuse is ridiculous in any profession.

Easy killer...I only posted it to insult you as I know you were in this business in a past life. Actually things are done differently in FL.

Come on DH! Stop being suck a combative loser with me. Should I get into the insurance adjuster stories from the body shop? I left them out when you were making ignorant comments about salvage cars in the other post.

Just an experience to share with the gent, its not all happiness dealing with scum bag dealers. Its a tough road at times.

The statements you’ve made in this thread only document your intellect & integrity to yourself, this forum & the car business. Sorry you can’t help taking discussions on this forum so personal and feel the need to publically attack me. In the end, you are the one that looks bad…

I put my shoes on everyday just like you. Don’t put yourself upon a pedestal just because your daddy owned a stroked out dealership and raised you with a silver spoon to allow you to be so-called retired in your 30’s. Sorry you feel the need to brag on this forum constantly in an attempt to gain credibility as a detailer. Just because you were a lot boy at your Dad's dealership doesn't fabricate people's respect towards you as an accomplished detailer. Besides the cars you’ve owned and your friend’s cars, you’ve never posted a detail here that can stand up to the B.S. you’ve been pumping since you joined the high-end bandwagon. What ever happened to the wealthy Investment Bankers & Broker’s Lamborghinis/Bentleys you claim to detail for $100/hr all the time? Not to mention all the ones you claim to constantly turn away.

Actually things are done differently in FL.

If anything, things are done differently in New York. Mainstream America doesn't revolve around the way you & your daddy ran his car business. Thanks again for putting another black eye on the both industries.

Have you promoted your buisness offline as well as online?

I think you get more business via offline marketing..... you can give some visiting cards as well as some more ways....
