The are you see surrounded by tape my dad in the process of detailing his Arcadia found some sap. Before I could give some advice, use of a water soaked microfiber towel and 'elbow grease' left damage to the paint. He said it was a couple of spots in this area. I said I'd be happy to work on it next time I come by.

At least it was micro and elbow grease........ I've seen people use the pot side of a sponge and elbow grease........

Gotta love helping out the parents. Did you have to remove any tree sap or did he have it all removed by the time you got there? I did a rinseless wash on the bike last night and found above the rear tire to be covered with road tar. I'll have to dig up my bottle of Tar-X.
