My Black Stang - DUW

Holeshot

I posted up pics of my Z06 last week ( http://autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46618 )and a few people asked about my Stang. I finally got around to cleaning it up. This is my first shot at this car, black is tough! But I am really, really, really, happy with the results :bounce

Looks like you did an outstanding job!

I sure wish I could detail mine...we haven't seen the sun for about 6 days.

Very nice work...your garage makes me depressed...I had a '01 Gixxer 1000 with Akrapovich, PCIII, short stacks, web cams, Penske double adjustable, Traxxion Dynamic forks...ect...had to get rid of it to get rid of the last little bit of debt before we get our house...can't wait for the '05's to get here...I've already put my deposit down on a blue/white one.

i tell you i have mustangs:down being an Fbody guy

But that is the only mustang ive ever liked :up

and yours is bad *** :xyxthumbs :bow great job on the detail too :xyxthumbs

That might be the cleanest garage and driveway I have ever seen. You could eat off of those floors!

I'm liking the BBS wheels on the Stang

Thanks guys :o I've just finally realized how to properly use my PC, so I feel like I've won the lottery with the way I've been able to bring the paint back on my cars. I still can't believe how much nicer the Stang looks with the swirls gone. They were never bad, but in the right light you could see them. Now they are gone :D

Mods please.....

or is it a secret???:)

No secrets on the mods, but a long list...

351, bored and stroked to 383c.i., Eagle forged rotating assembly, SRP pistons

Edelbrock Vic. Jr. heads, cnc ported by TEA

Ported Trickflow intake

Vortech S-Trim (T-trim on the way)

3" exhaust with LT headers

Grigg's tubular k-member and a-arms, coilovers

Bear Brakes, 2-piece rotors

that's the big stuff...

First you clean the floor really well and let it dry. The next day you can mix the epoxy and roll it on, throwing the paint chips on as you go. Nothing to it. After a few days of curing you are good to go...
