my baby is finally here!!!!

I don't get it. Is this an auto detailing trailer? I am not riding you so please don't take it that way. I am confused on its intended propose.

What are the work benches for? What will you do on them, paint touch up prep?

Looks like if you need a rag or a bottle of product you will have to go into the trailer to get it?

It looks impressive but doesn't look efficient. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Grouse- OK, I should've known you'd give thought to the mounting pads :D

I got your PM (BTW, your mailbox is full so I couldn't respond) and all I can say is: "sheesh, now I know where *not* to shop!"

I cleared out the pm box. The pm box seems so small here.

People do things in different ways. I chose benches as it is what i had on hand. It gives me a stable platform to store bins and tools. As for being in efficient. The products are broken down into processes. If i am starting a process the bins have what i need. This also allows me to return the products to the vehicle as i get what is needed for the next step.

This minimizes how many times i need to touch my gear, it smooths out the work flow by keeping the work are organized and clean.

To each there own.

couple of test fits for bulk products.

FWIW i received the missing bits and pieces from Jerry today. I was able to finally get the Hot water heater connected, along with use the wand. I will used the eyelet bolts to change out my strapping on the tank.

Th foam canon works awesome. 1"-1.5" of foam on the car when you spray it. I will try and get pics of it on a car tomorrow. The HWE is working fine, I had to buy a L5-30 amp plug because the PEV2 kept blowing my 20 am circuits today. (every 5 min) I also noticed that the male plug they supplied with the PEV2 is a 15am plug. So now that i set it to the 30 amp 120 volt circuit it should be just fine. I have had no problem running the 2400watt inline heater on my 20 amp circuits.

I have not tested my Auto pump out or my water reclamation unit yet. I will see if that is feasible tomorrow.

I only did a 20 min test run with everything today. Tomorrow i will give the whole set up a thorough going over. Hopefully i will have time to snap a few pictures for everyone.

Now is the long process of fine tuning the lay out. If you look at the first of the last two photo's i moved my canopy sand bags to the rear along with the sand snakes for the water reclamation unit. I am sing if the extra 250lbs weight in the rear will change how the trailer tows. We will see.

Let us know how it tests out...and yeah, I'd expect that weight to make a bit of difference, not that I'm experienced with towing.

well i have used the set up a few times now. I started my air compressor up and it seized about 15 min into running. I re-checked the fluid/oil level, belt tension. nothing is binding the belt. So The compressor must have seized. I will have unbolt and yank it out to see what is going on.

The HWE/pressure washer, seem to be working well. I need to fit a t connector to the water tank so i can fill buckets, bottles, spritzers with water. My only nit picky thing with the HWE is the size of the jet on the upholstery tool. It is a very large jet. This causes it to easily felt the fiber. I will look into a smaller jet. I am not sure if going down to a smaller jet will adversely effect the Pressure washer unit, It may put more water into the bypass than it can handle.

Grouse- Sheesh, the compressor sounds like a hassle :(

Interesting that they sized the jet on the HWE so much larger than you'd deem appropriate

Part two is in my sig.

FWIW i am going to re arrange it, I have ordered a new vapor steamer. With that i am going to adjust the weight. Generator, and air compressor to the back left. The compressor to the rear door, the generator in front of that. The side bench will be moving forward. I will be putting bulk size containers in for wash, detail spray, lube, plastic cleaners, interior detergent etc.

Very NIce setup!

One note on the placement of the filter/regualtor..For what you are probably going to use it, there will be no problem, but it should be at least 50 feat (25ft min) away from the compressor. This will help in the removal of moisture. I know the dimensions of your trailer might prohibit that.

Wow that is a great looking trailer... nice setup. I have seen some pretty nice trailer setups over the years. I spent about 6 years racing motocross and had the opportunity to see a bunch of different layouts. There is a company that focused on trailer cabinets and benches...and provide a real professional, clean look.
