Sometimes I have to really bite my tounge on this site.. Othertimes I just tell it how I see it and take the backlash that comes with having a opinion that normally dosen't mesh well with the general public on here. Now I've seen the pics read the thread and even responded in a simple fashion to this.
As I see it Todd really didn't do anything wrong. Yes he was told to take the high road and while most of the time I will very quickly point out when todd is being a holier than thou elitist in this case he was in my opinion very professional and didn't slam on holden at all. He presented actual facts that absoultly can not be disputed. For todd to take a ban on this instance is stupid and extreamly demeaning in this case. You're punishing a guy that clearly pointed out facts in a professional non degrading manner. There was about a dozen or so other guys in that thread that went off. Did Todd plant the seed for that to happen? In a way sure I guess. But he can't be held responsible for everyone's reactions. We all have to act like adults and be professional. For us to act in a different manner shouldn't reflect on Todd at all. He's not our keeper but he's being punished like he is. That is plain Bad business. Considering how many people come to this site to see Todd's latest work I think this is going to hinder things a bit.
Now as far as holden goes. The kid got in way over his head and let his ego get in his own way. It's happened to alot of people on here and will again. I will not doubt for a minute that in this piticuler case the kid messed up big time. But how many C&B's has he done were he got nothing but high praise and acknowlegements from you very people? Tons. He may not be ready for the exotics and he may be shady when trying to cross borders but up until this moment most of you actually like what he put up. Only the top guys really noticed that he was probably claiming to be better than he actually was. But I think he has certian skill sets that will allow him to continue to profit from detailing. If he cleans up his act gets his own ego out of the way and plays right he could do quite well at normal volume detailing I think. He's better than alot of other detailers I personally know just by what i've seen. This was one HUGE mistake by him. Hopefully he can get past this. but we've all made mistakes. But it's not like everything he's ever posted is now "Hacked" because of one mistake. Hopefully he dosen't rely on the internet to get most of his work. And hopefully he gets back on track and gets passed this ugly page in his life.
