A client brought in their 5.0 Mustang for a much needed paint correction. The paint was hammered. It lived the life of the local scratch and swirl and they wanted it to look its best for the next upcoming cars & coffee event.

I think the ‘doc’ at Autodermatology is up to the task!

Heavy, heavy swirls, marring, hazing, and scratching was covering the entire paint work of this Pony.
2 steps of paint correction were needed in order to restore some gloss, shine and reflectivity back into the paint.

Now let’s let the pictures do the story telling!

Working pics:

Before:

After 1st stage of correction:

Hood vents removed so they could be corrected and coated. Also it made correcting the hood a lot easier.

Koni struts and lowering springs found when I pulled the wheels!

Awesome. Do you use that parking mat on the garage floor??? How do you like it? Im looking for something like that...

Thanks everyone! I have around 18 hours into it. Yes, I have parking stops for all the vehicles. They work great.

Beautiful work as always. Black looks deep and wet. That`s bringing them back from the dead. People seem to bring you the most trashed out cars. Thanks for the pics.

From thrashed to treasure! Looks impressive. I always like someone else`s freshly polished black car. Never want my own. I would go nuts trying to keep that Mustang perfect.

It does seem like that! Last few have really been hammered! Thanks for the kind words!!

Thank you!! Me too...I would go nuts trying to do the same. I agree...nothing really looks as good as a fresh black car!

Someone needs to ask, since you`ve "peaked" our Autopian interest:
How long have you been beta-testing these products?
Can you divulge IF this compound & polish are designed specifically for long-throw orbital (dual) action polishers and pads OR if they are designed for rotary polishers, or both??
Any time-frame when will the compound & polish be available to the general public for sale???

Nice work on the `Stang 5.0, by the way.

That pony was hammered but every time i see that i think to myself it`s been washed a lot. Improperly washed but washed nonetheless. A stunning transformation my friend!

Thanks for the responses everyone!!!

Lonnie: long throw use. (although I used them with my Flex 3401 with no ill effects) I`ve had them for a little while now testing them out. Possibly by the end of the year...maybe Black Friday, but I can`t really say!

Puck: Yes, that it has for sure! LOL

JJ: nope, air filter condition was brought to the attention of the owner who will clean it and re-oil it!

Thanks again everyone!
