Aside from the collonites another good bang for the buck wax is chemical guys 50/50, if you want to splurge on a zymol wax, glasur is really nice, for swissvax Onyx looks just like concorso however it doesnt last as long. Dodo juice has the panel pots which you cant go wrong with them at all.

on edit: Optimum Car Wax is a must have, dont let the fact thats its a spray wax trick you into thinking its weak...its actually very awesome!

Did you like Glasur better than Concorso? What's the main difference that you observed between them? Is Glasur more for a light color car, or does it matter?

Thanks.

Yes, Its deeper than concorso, but not as glossy, imo it has better durability and its alot cheaper which is a big plus for me.

Did you end up applying it with your hands or an applicator? How do you think it would look on Black metallic?

I may end up buying a tub..:D

yup one panel at a time and removed, i didnt want to do anything different as i had applied HD cleanse also (which wore me out trying to get it buffed out)

:chuckle:

I didn't buy the HD cleanse, but I have some P21s GEPC, and some Lusso Oro Revitalizing Creme that should work just fine. At least this is what I read elsewhere that I could use as a substitute. We'll see.

While I haven't used the Lusso RC yet, the P21s GEPC is easy to apply and remove.

Thanks for the help.

You can't beat OCW on easy to use and less time.

It does attract dust a lot on my car

Wow - 6 pages of wax talk and no one even mentioned Adam's Americana? Its 1/3 price of Fuzion and works just as good. I have quite a few waxes in my collection, 50/50, Petes 53, Souveran, P21S, ect.. But currently my favorite is hands down Americana. Easy on, easy off, best durability of the bunch without applying a sealant. Americana is mixed with polymers (just like fuzion) to give it a long lasting shine.

Just my .02 - take it or leave it...

i haven't tried americana, so i cant speak from experience.

however, the adams products i have tried i have found an equivalent chemical guys product for cheaper (save for the new glass sealant they have)

You'll also find that most members of this forum really don't care for adams products hence the non mention of the paste wax in question

Apart from the obvious 'regular suspects', I'd have to recommend:

Colly #915

CK Carnauba Moose Wax

Autoglym HD Wax

Yeah! :up

And that's what I find so interesting about this forum. How does one compare if he refuses to use the product? I'm not a 100% die hard Adam's guy, I have a whole shelf of other products I like to use. But all I use on my camaro are Adam's products.

Haha, we know. Almost all of your posts suggest people try Adams. The only reason I have not is because there are cheaper alternatives that are satisfactory to my standards. There is also some negative vibes coming from Adam's users or reps on other forums which have turned me off. Again, I won't comment on Adam's products' quality, but I will say when I made a big purchase, to get an equal amount of products from Adam's and a competitor, I saved about $150 by not getting Adams.

I would enjoy trying out MSW if I could get it for a good price, but I have a few sealants already. Same with Americana. :up
