Hey guys,
Good to be back. School's been crazy lately and I fractured my back doing a 20+ ft snowboard jump, so I've been a little down and out lately.
Anyways, our local news channel has a program that tests new products to see if they really work as advertised. What luck! The one time I watched it, they were reviewing this product!
They went to a rental car garage and tested it out on a car that had been driven normally for a week and hadn't been washed yet.
For $25, you get a hose attachment/sprayer that contains a PUR filter and a canister of wash soap.
They followed the instructions exactly, and guess what...it didn't clean well at all!:sosad I know, I know, surprise surprise...
And then there was the so-called drying thing. The water didn't 'sheet' off at all-it just sat there(being a rental car, it obviously wasn't waxed, so our results might vary). It took almost two hours to dry completely!:scared
The only thing it did well was not leave any water spots. They zoomed in on the glass afterwards, and sure enough, it was spotless(except for the whole dirt layer thing
!) Overall, this product might not be a bad 'final rinse' product, but it's definitely not a good washing contraption!
Plus, the thing that really got me was that you only get 5 washes out of the starter kit(for $25!!!!).
No thanks, I'll stick to my Z7 and Waffle Weave thank you very much!:xyxthumbs
